How to make your hair grow out long and healthy?

So I made a ';hair-growth chart'; at home to see how much my hair was growing a month (about a inch and a quarter). I have been on a new diet and exercize plan for the last week and I'm hoping to lose about 50 to 60 pounds in the next seven months woot woot! So far so good! With that, I want my hair to grow out natural dark brown, and have it be long AND AND AND healthy! If long hair isn't healthy, it isn't pretty, so what is the point? So please does anyone have any tips? Like vitamins, foods, shampoo or conditioners!!! Please help me it would mean alot to me!! (I want to look better for myself, and my boyfriend:)) Thanks! How to make your hair grow out long and healthy?
Well it's imperative to be healthy on the inside for your hair to healthy on the outside.

Try taking multi vitamins daily, eating healthy, lots of fruits and veggies, drinking A LOT of water, and exercising regularly (cardio is definately best!).

Avoid a lot of heat, like straightening and curling. If you do have to do that, apply a good heat protectant first!

Get your ends trimmed too every 2 months.

To have healthy hair on the outside, you should invest in a really good conditioner. One that has is nice and creamy and has good ingredients in it. Then you should try to deep condition more often. Apply the conditioner to your head and put a plastic cap over it and go do some chores or watch TV. For serious treatment (like if your hair is feeling damaged), apply a heating cap (you can buy this at a hair supply store) over the plastic cap and your body energy will heat it up and your hair will be throughly conditioned:)

Leave it on for at least an hour and when you rinse, your hair will be nice and soft :) If you keep this up at least once a week, your hair will be really soft and very healthy. And if your hair is healthy, it will grow long :)

If you want to give your hair a treat if it's feeling dry, apply a mixture of your conditioner and a little bit of olive oil (for moisture) to your hair and your ends (the ends are the oldest part of the hair, and if they are not taken care of, they can break off) put on a plastic cap and leave it on overnight and rinse throughly in the morning :)

Remember not to wash your hair everyday so you don't dry it out, and don't forget to apply leave-in conditioner to make your hair soft.

Yes, use a rich emollent conditioner. Have your hair trimmed regularly. Try to avoid heat damage from styling appliances and blow dryers as much as possible. It is also better for hair to wash it every other day rather than every day, if possible.
You should take showers and brush your hair
drink lots of water
