How do you make your sim propose another sim on the sims3?

I heard that you have to make the sim your boyfriend and then you propose to him. My sim's relationship with the person is full and e is her crush. How do I ask him to be my boyfriend? I know it's confusing but try to help me outHow do you make your sim propose another sim on the sims3?
you click on them, and a bubble will pop up with choices that you can choose from to do to/with them.





if you are only friends or crushes, then certain choices will not be avaliable to you. (like purposing) but as you talk and play with them and snuggle and stuff, your sim gets to know them better and more choices become avaliable to you. (like boyfreind, and then after that proposal and stuff)

If they both like each other alot, go up to the guy click on him and select romantic then click propose-go steady. Then you have to establish almost a full realtionship and THEN you can propose marriage. Hope this works
To get to be able to prepose to another sim you have to get them to like each other first ^^
