How do you get your boyfriend to make up his mind on what he wants in life?

We have been togeather almost 3 years we have had our up's and down's but we are very much in love he had a motorcle wreck about a month ago and when he was laying in the ER bed he told me life was to short he was going to buy me a ring when he got out of the hospital...i havent seen it yet and he keeps putting off on buying a house to he had everything done all he had to do is give them the word on ordering a trailor WE had picked everything out but now he is not getting it what do I do to get him to make up his mind on what he wants in life he tells me he love's me more than anything and I know he does I feel the same about him I am just ready to be with him sleep buy him every night and be with him every morning he is my life and just beable to have a home we can call our's i'm ready to get married and start a family does anyone have any advice?How do you get your boyfriend to make up his mind on what he wants in life?
